To protect dramatic and audiovisual works in Chile.

To carry out the collective management of the rights belonging to the authors it represents, both Chilean and foreign, that is:

• To license the uses of represented works.
• To collect the royalties accrued to such works
• To distribute to authors and other rightholders the monies collected.

To promote the repertoire of dramatic and audiovisual works in Chile and abroad by establishing reciprocl relations with International Agencies and foreign collective management societies.

It represents Chilean and foreign authors of dramatic, cinematographic and audiovisual works belonging to author societies which had entered into reciprocal representation agreements with ATN, such as SGAE (Spain), SACD (France), SABAM (Belgium), ARGENTORES (Argentina), AGADU (Uruguay), SPA (Portugal), SBAT (Brazil), SOGEM (México), etc.

ATN is an ordinary member of CISAC (the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers), an organization that gathers the greatest part of author societies in the wordl giving internationl gurantees and legitimacy to its members.

At a regional level, ATN it is a part of the Federación Internacional de Sociedades de Autores Dramáticos - FEDRA (International Federation of Societies of Dramatic Authors) together with Argentina, Brazil and México.

To foreign authors who, directly or through their agent or agency, have requested our services to protect their works, such as William Morris Agency (New York), Thalia Spanish Theatre (New York), International Creative Management, Inc. (New York), Miguel Alberto Goldin (Agent New York), PFD (London), Marion Weiss (Buenos Aires), etc.

To universities, theaters and other Chilean and foreign institutions that request our services.

ATN is a modern and efficient organization in the administration of author rights.

ATN guarantees a permanent structure of support for the protection of the work that it represents.

ATN gives a reliable information source for users ans agents.

ATN counts on the support of CISAC (The International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers) wich enables its management both in the domain of internationa coopertion and its institucional action in every aspect.

ATN is widely recognized and respected in the territory of Chile. Besides, it counts on the Government's authorization to operate as a collective management entity in ccordance with the provisions of the Law on Intellectual Property.
